Based in Sturbridge, MA, Insurance Professionals of New England, Inc. ("IPNE") was incorporated in 1988 by two industry veterans, William J. Szafarowicz and Karl E. Krantz, to offer insurance services specifically focused to meet the needs of health and social service agencies. Bill & Karl, have over 50 years of combined experience in providing insurance services to social service agencies. They are both licensed Property/Casualty Insurance Advisors as well as brokers so that their clients needs for risk management services can be achieved without additional consulting expenses.

From the outset, IPNE was structured to provide a high level of personal service to IPNE clients, with a priority placed on face-to-face communications.

The organization has grown to become a full lines insurance agency capable of professionally handling all aspects of clients' personal and business insurance needs. We are extremely proud of our professional support staff, who have many years of experience and knowledge in the insurance industry, and are there to serve the day to day needs of our clients. Our comprehensive approach to serving our current and prospective clients includes a full range of risk management services, educational seminars, comprehensive loss control services, specialty property/casualty programs, and workers' compensation markets.
